Christians have become so busy and filled our lives with so many activities, it’s often easy to neglect prayer. One may squeeze it in before bed or dash off a quick prayer on the way to work. Without the power of prayer, Satan gets a foothold and we become ineffective for God. Satan tries to confuse us so we question what it is God wants. We start to believe what the world tells us. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Sometimes there are eternal reasons for the trials we suffer now.
