Rembrandt-BelsazarDaniel 5 tells the story of Babylonian King Belshazzar throwing a drunken party with 1,000 of his nobles. As they were drinking and praising their pagan idols, they suddenly saw the fingers of a human hand writing on the wall. I am a friend of God

VictoryI love this verse! It assures us that even at our very worst, Christ loves us enough that He took the punishment for us. Salvation is offered to us as a free gift, not because we are deserving, but just because God loves us. (continue reading…)
