Christ’s Resurrection is the key
by JoAnn on Mar.11, 2010, under Did You Know?, Easter
Jesus lived a remarkable life. But the Apostle Paul drives home the point that the key to everything in which we hope and believe rests upon Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead. (continue reading…)
The barrier is gone
by JoAnn on Mar.10, 2010, under Easter
This amazing video illustrates the significance of the tearing of the temple curtain when Jesus died. The veil is torn, the barrier down and nothing can separate us now.
“Then Jesus uttered another loud cry and breathed his last. And the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” Mark 15:37-38
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

Isn’t it amazing that God chose to send mankind a Savior who came not as a glorious, conquering King, but in the form of a humble servant? (continue reading…)
Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs
by JoAnn on Dec.08, 2009, under Did You Know?, Easter
Jesus has remained invisible since His ascension to test the faith of many and indeed faith has greaty disappeared. The rulers have forgotten His precepts and have made the earth their battleground. Little are they aware that their ruling power is waning because the new King is coming. There is no stopping the day for which people have long prayed. God will put a stop to war and Jesus will reign triumphantly. (continue reading…)
