The Harvest is Ripe But the Workers Are Few
I believe that many of our American Churches lay sleeping. While Christians meet in their churches each Sunday, shining their light for one another inside those four walls, the world outside is dark, full of lost and hopeless humanity.
If you had a cure for cancer, would you keep it a secret? If your neighbor was drowning, would you throw him a lifeline to save him? Eternity is forever. Many of our friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even family members are marching toward a Christless eternity.
Are we doing enough? Time is short. The harvest is ripe, but the workers are few.
