International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians

Today is the “International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church” and millions of Christians worldwide will be praying for their brothers and sisters in Christ who do not have freedom of religion. These people live in Countries including North Korea, Iran, Iraq, China, India and many more.
Aid to the Church in Need estimated that last year more than 200 million Christians suffered in some way for their faith, each day threatened with murder and other acts of violence. An additional 350 million Christians are thought to suffer lesser degrees of oppression, including discrimination and restrictions on the practice of their religion. This catastrophe has been ignored by the major media.
We Christians in the United States have been very blessed up to now. It makes me wonder, just how many of us could stand firm for Jesus under the same conditions as the people in the video below?
